Chanel Video Clip

If you're a fan of Chanel, do check out this fascinating video clip on the UK Vogue website featuring Chanel global creative director Peter Philips at work over 6 months, including backstage during the Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Fendi shows, beauty shoots and brainstorming on upcoming collections. He even uses a cold teaspoon as an eyelash curler at one point!

Thanks very much for posting about this!!!

I didn't immediatly realised there were 2 episodes. There is another Belgian makeup called Rudi Cremers who does also the spoon trick.

The director Lo ïc Prigent did in the past an other documentary about Chanel's couture atelier. And Arte a culture tv channel here in Europe is running right now a series of 4 docs by the same director called "Le Jour d'Avant" (The Day Before) about what happens 24h before a runway show. Last week was Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi, yesterday Jean Paul Gaultier Couture show. Frantic!
I don't know if the video will work outside of Europe, but you can watch yesterdays show (for 7 days only) online. It's in French.

There are Le Jour d'Avant videos on youtube too.

Thanks for the link! I didn't know there were 2 episodes either. I think Peter Philips is absolutely adorable. I saw him apply mascara on himself once to see the effect.

I love it. He's just soooo cute.

hi Lina,

I thought it was cute how he always wore a tie while working :-)
